WEATHER
RainControls weather events mid-day. Light speeds up glider returns and adds rain visuals. Heavy urgently recalls all airborne gliders. Storm is dramatic — everyone comes back immediately and dark clouds fill the sky.
WindAffects glider approach behaviour. Calm = straight-in landings. Normal = mild drift. Gusty = gliders swerve sideways on final — harder to predict where they'll touch down.
CloudsSky cloud coverage in aviation oktas (0/8 = clear, 8/8 = fully overcast). Cosmetic unless combined with Rain. Higher oktas also make rain storms look more convincing.
GAMEPLAY
MorningHow the day starts. Hangar = sky is empty at dawn — drive to the west hangar door to pull out gliders one by one before anything can fly. Airborne = gliders are already in the air when the day begins, landing and cycling normally from the start.
TrafficHow often new gliders arrive to land. Low ≈ 3/day. Medium ≈ 5/day. High ≈ 9/day. Crazy = as fast as you can possibly handle. More traffic = less time between arrivals = more pressure to keep slots clear.
ThermalsHow long launched gliders stay airborne before returning. None = immediate returns. Weak = short circuits. Strong = 30% of gliders soar for most of the day, keeping parking slots occupied and blocking space for new arrivals. The main difficulty lever.
CollisionsOff = no collision damage. Runway = game over if you drive onto the runway while a glider is landing. Full = any contact with a moving glider ends the day.
Rope BreaksChance the winch cable snaps during launch. The glider levels off and rolls — you must clear the runway before the next arrival. Rare = 10%. Often = 30%. Freq = 50% (every other launch).
Game SpeedHow fast real time maps to the 11-hour game day. Slow = 6 min/day (relaxed). Normal = 3 min/day (standard). Fast = 1.5 min/day (frantic). Also affects how quickly the melex battery drains.
GRAPHICS
Grass FXOff = flowers only (~250 sprites, lightest). 1× = full grass blades + flowers (~600 sprites). 2× = double density (~1200 sprites). Higher settings look lush but may slow down older devices — try 1× first.
RADIO
StyleNormal = standard ATC-style tower calls. Chill = relaxed pilot banter with a more laid-back atmosphere, including evening mood calls after 3 PM.
LevelOff = silent. Warn = runway conflict warnings only. Normal = full tower radio on every landing. Chatter = pilots chat between flights for extra airfield atmosphere.
